What to check on this one at 1,44,300 km
- At 144,300 km the schedule has already called for: brake fluid, spark plugs, coolant, transmission fluid. Ask to see the bills.
- On a diesel, have the turbo, the injectors and (where fitted) the DPF checked: those are the expensive failures.
- At about 10 years old, rubber and electrics matter as much as the engine: hoses, bushes, the AC compressor, and rust in the sills and boot floor.
