What to check on this one at 48,000 km
- At 48,000 km the schedule has already called for: brake fluid, coolant. Ask to see the bills.
- On an EV, the battery's state of health is the whole value. Ask for a health readout and confirm the battery warranty transfers.
- On an automatic, feel for jerks or slip on a test drive and ask when the transmission fluid was last changed, a rebuild is dear.
- Still young, so wear is not the worry: accident repairs and a genuine odometer are. Paint depth and panel gaps tell you more than the service book.
