What to check on this one at 66,000 km
- Belt-driven engine: confirm when the timing belt was last replaced.
- At 66,000 km the schedule has already called for: spark plugs, brake fluid, coolant, transmission fluid. Ask to see the bills.
- At about 17 years old, rubber and electrics matter as much as the engine: hoses, bushes, the AC compressor, and rust in the sills and boot floor.
